Hi, I’m Burt Briggs and I’m glad you found my website and the Alamo City Bass Fishing Guide Service. I’m a Texas-licensed and insured, part-time bass fishing guide and tournament fisherman who guides primarily on Choke Canyon Reservoir, which is approximately 77 miles south of San Antonio, Texas. I have over 30 years of bass fishing experience and have fished Choke Canyon since 1985. I also guide on Fayette County Reservoir and Lake Bastrop, especially during the winter months as both of these lakes are power plant lakes.
My goal is to provide you with a client-focused bass fishing experience that is individually tailored for what you would like to accomplish on your guided trip…whether it is to learn a certain technique, to catch your personal best, or to catch a bass for the very first time. So whether you’re an experienced bass fisherman or a beginner, I will do my best to make sure that your trip is rewarding and that you have an enjoyable and memorable day on the water.
You’ll be fishing from a brand new Ranger Z520 bass boat, powered by an Evinrude 250 HO E-Tech engine, using state of the art Lowrance and Hummingbird electronics to help locate the fish. You’ll be using brand new fishing equipment from Falcon, Berkley, Shimano, Daiwa and Quantum or, if you prefer, you can bring your own equipment.
Please make sure to ask about the military or family discount when booking a fishing trip. I also offer a pick-up and drop-off service for those individuals staying at one of the hotels in San Antonio.
Let’s go catch some bass! |
